Glenhyrst Gardens and Art Gallery is a beautiful sixteen acre property along the Grand River located at 20 Ava Road in Brantford. As a non-profit, the gallery displays six unique, contemporary exhibits on an annual basis and offers events, art education programs, classes and workshops for all ages throughout the year.
Although COVID-19 has changed much about our lives over the last nine months, Brantford residents can still look forward to the stunning garden light displays at Glenhyrst this year. The light display will begin on December 4, 2020 and will glow bright from 6 – 9pm each night through January 1, 2021. No official opening event will be held in order to keep members of the community as safe as possible. Drive or walk through the beautiful property at your leisure.
Also beginning December 4 is the annual Vibrant Palette Student Exhibit featuring over two hundred works of art by local students. The Gallery at Glenhyrst will be open on Friday and Saturday nights from 6 – 8:30pm, with the exception of Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
While you’re there taking in the lights and the art exhibit, make a reservation for Twilight Tea at the Golden Tea Pot. Select from English High and Low Tea or the Royal Kensington Tea option.
Admission to Brantford Lights at Glenhyrst and the Vibrant Palette Exhibit are free, but donations are appreciated.
