Candlelit Tours at Mohawk Chapel

Candlelit Tours at Mohawk Chapel

Explore the grounds of Her Majesty’s Royal Chapel of the Mohawks during their Candlelit Tours happening this November and December.

Mohawk Chapel was the first Protestant church in Upper Canada and is now the oldest surviving church in Ontario. This historic landmark offers guided tours and hosts a number of special events throughout the year.

Stroll along the pathway leading up to Mohawk Chapel as it’s lit by the soft glow of candlelight and marvel at the history and architecture of this beautiful historic site.

Masks are mandatory, and must be worn at all times indoors, covering the nose, mouth and chin. Contact tracing and self-assessment checks will be in place, and a hand sanitizing station will be at the front entryway for the convenience of our visitors.
