Italian Comfort Food from ZaZa’s Pizzeria

Carb-lovers unite! We think we may have found our next menu for the Brantford Chapter of Carb Lovers Secret Society meeting. While this society is only in our imagination, we can pretend when we bite into a ZaZa’s Pizzeria pizza that it is for ‘research’ purposes and therefore, calories don’t count.

ZaZa’s Pizzeria, located at 155 Lynden Rd., grew from the passion of three second generation Italian brothers who were born and raised in Brantford. This take-out style restaurant is much more than just pizza, offering fresh made panzerottis, sandwiches, pastas, and enhancements like a salad or garlic bread.

Zaza’s cooks their pizzas via an authentic wood-fire brick oven. So what makes this method of cooking pizza so popular with customers? The high heat of a wood-fire oven gives each pizza a unique shape and keeps the cheese and ingredients moist and fresh, with a chewy top crust and crispy underneath and a delectable slightly smoky flavour. Zaza’s offers tomato based sauces or a selection of olive oiled based White pizzas with no tomato sauce. The menu will have you drooling and is sure to please the most discerning palate.

Zaza’s is open Monday to Saturday for lunch (10:00am -2:00pm) and dinner (4:00pm-10:00pm) for takeout or delivery. Enjoy grilled veggies with goat cheese, Italian sausage and peppers with mozzarella, or a meatball sandwich on a fresh bun. Upgrade your sandwich of choice by adding caramelized onions for a sweet and delicious lunch. Too hot to cook dinner? Call for delivery of your favourite pasta, garlic bread with cheese, and salad – the ultimate crowd pleasing dinner for the whole family! Some of the authentic pasta dishes to choose from include: ricotta filled ravioli, gnocchi, chicken fettuccini alfredo, and penne primavera. Zaza’s also offers a select catering menu for stress free planning of your next family barbeque or private celebration.
