Learn about tools and resources available to Culture Days participants at an information session on Thursday, April 16, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant. Hosted by the City of Brantford in collaboration with the gallery, Culture Days staff will be in attendance to help participants increase the impact and success of their Culture Days activities.
The information session is open to artists, crafters, dancers, writers, staff and volunteers of cultural groups, libraries, museums, schools and anyone else wishing to participate in the fifth annual pan-Canadian celebration of arts and culture taking place September 25 to 27, 2015.
“This information session will provide the opportunity for local creators, arts and heritage organizations, cultural groups, libraries and festivals to work together to start planning 2015 Culture Days activities,” says Sara Munroe, Arts & Culture Coordinator with the City of Brantford. “Culture Days offers the opportunity to discover the vibrancy of cultural activities in Brantford. We invite anyone involved with culture in our community to collaborate on what is sure to be an exciting weekend full of free, interactive events.”
Explore, discover and participate in arts and culture. This year’s Culture Days weekend will take place on September 25, 26 and 27, 2015. Once again, the event will feature free, hands-on, interactive activities that invite the public to participate behind-the-scenes and to discover the world of artists, creators, historians, crafters, architects, curators, and designers at work in their community.
