Brantford Presents: Take Three… Live Local Performances From the Comfort of Home!

Fifteen local performing artists are coming to a screen near you for BRANTFORD PRESENTS: TAKE THREE! On Friday May 22 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., 15 local performers will each be doing a 5-10 minute set streamed live online through Zoom. The event is organized by Grandview Theatre Company, I Think You’re Grand and Theatre Hive. A link to the online stream can be accessed through the event’s Facebook page. The event will also be streamed live on Grandview Theatre’s YouTube page.

There will be a range of entertainment throughout the evening, including monologues, scenes, and a variety of musical acts. Artists performing include Cooper Bilton, Ella Decle, Bruce Farley, Jeffrey Harding, Sean Hauk, Connor McGrath, Joe O’Connor, Adriano Reis, Denis Rondeau, John Tench, Rachel Senko, Chris Strei and Jessica Wood.  The evening will also include live painting with award winning local visual artist Barbara Sutherland.

BRANTFORD PRESENTS is an effort to provide the arts to our community, and to raise awareness and funds for the many artists in Brantford who have been put out of work due to COVID-19. Although the event is free, viewers are encouraged to donate to the artists. Proceeds are divided evenly between the artists. The first two BRANTFORD PRESENTS events took place on March 27 and April 17, where 38 local actors, comedians & musicians live streamed two shows for an audience of over 2,000 viewers. The events have been a resounding success, with viewers donating over $3200 to the artists.

Viewers can tune in on Friday May 22 by visiting the Facebook event page.
